We are never going to be told the truth. We gave that privilege up, the right to the truth, when we decided to hand our fate over to those who promised to “keep us safe.” They put us in endless wars, took our jobs, our retirement, millions of our homes and, as some of us learned awhile ago, have kept us safe from the worst enemy we have ever faced.
They have kept us safe from “them.”
