"We demand that the U.S. Congress correct its mistaken ways of politicizing economic and trade issues and stop interfering in the normal commercial exchanges between enterprises of the two countries," the Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.


They must have missed the memo on trade being a very political issue or the memo on political negotiations or the memo on people in glass houses not throwing of rocks.

How about China stops telling our companies what they can and can't publish on the internet, or who we can and can't recognize as a country ([1], [2]), what we can and can't import, who we can and can't sell weapons to, who can and can't live here, and we'll stop telling them what they can and can't buy from us. Sound fair?
