Allawi sure is making a name for himself. So far we know he's been a longtime CIA asset who helped facilitate terrorist attacks in Iraq during the 1990s and, according to Sy Hersh, ran a hit squad in Europe during the 1970s that knocked off political adversaries of Saddam Hussein, helping him rise quickly through the ranks of the Ba'ath party.Iyad Allawi, the new Prime Minister of Iraq, pulled a pistol and executed as many as six suspected insurgents at a Baghdad police station, just days before Washington handed control of the country to his interim government, according to two people who allege they witnessed the killings.
