Though it is by now clear that Enron has given significantly more money to help the GOP than it has the Democrats, nonetheless there are many people of both parties and many members of the pundidtry and media who have been perhaps softened up by the financial handouts, and to focus upon the Bush Mafiosa is to move the spotlight away from the true culprit: Campaign finance reform and putting back those regulation taken away and adding even tougher ones to make the system work.
